правда нет пока возможности испытать его на рабочих серверах, только на одном (но там практически нет бизнес-процессов), да еще на виртуалках... первая бетка обновлялась как часы, а когда закончилась лицензия, перенастроил на обновление с зеркала,

сегодня скачал вторую бетку (4.3.12008) (лицензия продлена до 30 июня 2011), установил поверх первой с текущими параметрами,

что-то наподобие netsh: для различных префиксов существует контекст команд.
например: ? показывает список команд, доступных в данном контексте.

выбираем префикс scanner
доступные команды (и другие)
add target (добавить цель сканирования)
add target c:\windows\system32
далее, можно стартовать сканирование
start scan

Есть возможность отключить GUI на терминальном сервере для пользовательских сессий.

По поводу разделить - да, для рабочих станций останется обычный дистрибутив БЕ, а для серверов будет этот продукт - он призван повысить производительность и стабильность.

По поводу зеркала - точно не знаю, но думаю, что можно.
